After breakfast drive to Barkot. Enroute you can visit the famous Kempty Falls. Kempty falls is the star attraction of Mussoorie. People from all over the world visit the place to have a look at these spectacular waterfalls.
On reaching Barkot, check into your hotel/camp. Evening for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast Drive to Jankichattiand Trek to Yamunotri. From Jankihatti start your trek to Yamunotri (6km One way trek). You can also hire palki or a horse for your trek (Cost Not Included). During the trek, you enjoy the sight of lush green valley and a variety of species of Himalayan shrubs. Perform all the rituals and return back to Barkot, hotel / Camp. Overnight stay at hotel.

YAMUNOTRI - Yamunotri is one of the shrines of the Chardham. The temple at Yamunotri is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna who present in the form of a black marble idol in the temple. Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna which is also the daughter of Surya(the Sun).

After having your breakfast, check out from the hotel. Start your drive to your next destination, Uttarkashi on the way you can visit Prakateshwar Mahadev Temple (Shiva Cave), Kashi vishwanath & Shakti Peeth before Check into your Hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

UTTARKASHI (Kashi Of North) - set on the banks of river Bhagirathi, Uttarkashi is well known for its historical ornaments, Temples and Ashrams. After taking some rest for the day, you can go stroll around the place.

VISHWANATH TEMPLE (Kashi Vishwanath) - Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mother’s, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, SakshiGopal, Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. AkhandJyoti as well as AkhandAbhishek, special aarti at morning and evening are offered. As per SkundaPuran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.

SHAKTI TEMPLE - Right in front of theVishwanath temple is Shakti temple.It has a big ‘Trishul’ of about 6 meters in height and a circumference of 90 cms. at bottom. Though there are different views about the making of this, the upper part of it seems to be made up of iron and the lower one is of copper. As per the epics this Shakti was thrown on the devils by the Goddess Durga(Shakti), hence it gets its name. Since then this Shakti is erected over here. Uttarkashi Weather - Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 30-35 degree Celsius but nights is pleasant, Cold in winters.

Early in the morning start driving towards Gangotri. On The way visit Gangnani, Jhala Valley, Lanka Bridge, Bharoo Ghati , Harshil valley and Surya Kund.

GANGOTRI - is a popular Hindu pilgrimage town which is set on the banks of river Bhagirathi. River Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this place. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. On reaching Gangotri, perform Pooja and other rituals. Later, drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight at the hotel.

Leave for your next destination, Guptkashi after having your breakfast early in the morning. On the way you can visit Chaurangi Khal. On reaching, check into the hotel/camp. Overnight stay in the hotel/camp.

GUPTKASHI (Hidden Kashi) - is located at a distance of 47 km from the holy shrine, Kedarnath. The town holds immense religious importance as it houses famous ancient temples like Ardhnareshwar Temple.

Get up early in the morning and check out from the hotel after having your breakfast. Start your drive to Gaurikund which is set at a distance of around 33 km. On reaching sonprayag our vehicle will drop you here. Drive to Gaurikund From Sonprayag (5 kms) by Shuttle taxi (at own your cost). Because of Narrow road and guideline of local authorities our vehicle is not permittable. After reaching Gaurikund start trek to Kedarnath.

KEDARNATH - Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. To reach the temple, you can hire a palki or a horse (Cost Not Included). On your way to the temple, you will get to experience the unexplored sights of the snowcapped mountains, waterfalls and glaciers. On reaching, check into the Govt. Camps/Lodges or Dharmsala (Basic Sharing Dormitory) Overnight stay at the hotel.

This morning you get up early and take bath. Later, you go to the temple for the 'Abhishek’ and Pooja to Kedarnath Ji Temple. After Darshan and Puja you also can visit Bhairav Temple (1.5km from Kedarnath ji) return to your respective Camps / Lodges. Start your trek from Kedarnath to GauriKund and take your shuttle to reach SonPrayag. At SonPrayag, your vehicle will pick up you and take back to your hotel at Guptkashi. On reaching Guptkashi, overnight stay at the hotel.

After having your breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and start driving towards your next destination, Badrinath JI via Chopta Valley and Joshimath (Narsingh temple). On reaching Badrinath, check-in to the hotel. After taking some rest and refreshments, you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for Darshan. After Darshan and Pooja, return back to the hotel. BADRINATH - is an important pilgrimage site which holds immense importance for both Hindus and Buddhists. Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is set at a height of 3133 meter.

Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bath before entering the Badrinath temple.

Mana Village : Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Badrinath Weather: The average maximum temperature will be around 18° Celsius and the average minimum is 8° Celsius. Warm and woolen clothes are hence required for a stay in Badrinath throughout the year. Winter in Badrinath is often accompanied by snow falls. Winter is very chilly with an average temperature of 5° Celsius. Due to the extreme climatic conditions, this time is usually closed for tourists.

This morning, visit Badrinath Temple for Darshan. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you can leave for local sightseeing at Badrinath.
